Needless to say, it is important to maintain good felt features for stable paper machine operation. Ichikawa has developed unique constructed new design for the purpose of getting good dewatering, easier cleaning, anti-shedding effect and anti-abrasion.   Laminate-S Construction We used to laminate a few base-fabrics to unity single base by needling, but we have developed new style base fabric which has batt fibers between each base layer. This concept is quite new in the market.   MAINTAIN GOOD WATER DRAINAGE It is effective to prevent base compaction by applying batt fibers among base-fabrics. As this new felt will be finished softer than regular laminated felt, higher compressibility and regaining is expected. Therefore, faster break-in and better water drainage can be achieved.   IT IS EXPECTED TO GET SELF-CLEANING EFFECTIVENESS Higher compressibility and less plugging.   IT IS EFFECTIVE TO PREVENT HAIR-SHEDDING AND ABRASION   FELT INSTALLATION WILL BE SMOOTHEN, AS FELT ITSELF WILL BE SOFT.   IT IS POSSIBLE TO CHANGE SMOOTHNESS AND VOID-VOLUME.
