(Kyoto Protocol: Target of reduction by minus 6% as compared with FY1990.)

Target of Kyoto Protocol:We achieved 11.2% reduction from 1990.

Measures to reduce CO2 emissions are being implemented in a planned style such as installing energy-saving facilities and equipment. In fiscal year 2010, CO2 emissions increased reflecting changes in the production volume while the basic unit for energy improved.

Waste is more thoroughly segregated at source to recycle it as materials. (Tabulation started in 2004) Resin waste is being recycled as refuse paper & plastic fuel (RPF) in a planned style and a recycling ratio of more than 90% was accomplished in FY 2010.
